BREATHING

laying down, in dim light
well-hydrated, bladder empty, possibly covered in a blanket
pick a rhythm, either your own or set to music
breathe on beat, through the mouth, from the diaphragm
giving equal strength to inhale and exhale, even, strong
feel the stomach expanding fully with every breath in
and emptying completely with every breath out
allow all physical and psychic sensations to arise
this may include diziness, dry mouth, vertigo, nausea, fear, exhiliration, spasms, shivers, your hands cramping up weridly
just keep breathing through it
and everything will eventually pass away again
increase or decrease the speed and intensity of your breath depending on what you feel capable of
go for as long as you can and make a regular practice of it
and you will discover many positive benefits to your life
